About me

Health and fitness is what I am most passionate about, always have been and likely always will be.

I love to eat and I love to exercise. Where people need a morning coffee to start the day, I need endoprhines, whether that's a run, a gym session or just anything generally active. Of course, this isn't essential for everyone, but it is for me! I work so much harder, I feel so much clearer and just perform at a higher level for the rest of the day.

I like to test my mind and my body regularly.

Particularly in the last 4-5 years I have educated myself on the importance of not only keeping active but what you consume on a daily basis. I have never had a bad diet, but I certainly would never prioritise vegetables, proteins or water. Now, these are consiously consumed every day to keep my body as healthy as possible because I know it will thank me in the future.

Fitness is something I have been passionate about since I can remember. I've played for football teams, played tennis, been a tennis coach for 2 years. I’ve now run a marathon, half marathons, gym 4-5 times a week and even jump on the bike from time to time.

As I have become older and wiser, I find myself now pretty well educated on food, exercise and the body and I can't wait to share my knowledge with others.

What is this about?

Whether your goal is to lose weight, become more active, feel healthier, restore a healthy relationship with food, I am here to guide you on the right path. 8 weeks is all we need together to improve that lifestyle of yours, fill you with the knowledge you need to take it forward with you through life so you won't need to return a year later. You will already know what needs to be done if you feel yourself falling back into old habits.

They say find your passion and run with it... this is it for me. I honestly couldn't think of anything better than continuning to work within my Dad's business but incorpoarting something that is so close to my heart and helping as many people as I can with the knowledge I have.

I want to help people reach their goals, REALISTICALLY. I don't want you eating a salad everyday, I don't want you in the gym 6 days a week, I don't want to deprive you of all your favourite treats, I want to help improve your life in a sustainable way. Sustainability is the key word in all of this.

What am I getting for my money?

Providing you WANT this, willing to put in the effort and be preapred to take any advice onboard, you are going to change your life.

Over the course of the next 8 weeks...

If your goal is to shed a few pounds, with the information you have given me I will put together a small meal plan specific to you, that if followed properly will guarantee that target will be met.

If your goal is to become more active, I will help to incorporate new exercises into your daily routine that again will always be specific to you. If you tell me you do not like to run, I will not make you run, I perhaps will give you a step count goal 6/7 days a week. Either way, I will be sure to impliment the right exercises for YOU.

One thing that I think it really important to stress here is, everything we do together will be sustainable, I certainly won't be cutting out anything you enjoy, but simply being smarter with your general choices.

By the end of the 8 weeks you may have reached your goal but you might not, and to be honest the latter is the most likely. If turning your life around was as simple as doing it in 8 weeks, then everybody would be just fine. However, you will absolutely be well on the way.

Note: You will need food scales and weighing scales if your goal is to lose fat.

Why choose me?

With a lot of PT's and health coaches, you are put on a path where you will inevitably come to a an almighty halt. This is because you are provided with information that may produce results in the short term but simply cannot be sustained in the long run and put you back at square one.

I am here to provide you with the tools and information that hopefully will only make small adaptations to your current lifesytle therefore giving you a wealth of knowledge that keeps your journey a sustainable and enjoyable one.

As a quick example; you goal is to lose weight. I put you on a diet of solely salads and water for 2 weeks, you stick to it and you lose a considerable amount of weight. Great. But come week 3, you realise you're totally missing out on any enjoyable foods, so you treat youself to a jolly yummy slice of cake on a sunday afternoon. That slice turns into two slices the next weekend, then 3 etc. The cycle continues and before you know it, the cake eaten is outweighing any of the progress coming from the salads and you have found yourself at the starting line again. This is called yoyo dieting by the way. Constantly up and down, no structure.

Now imagine, I work out the calories your body requires to lose weight (this will be explained more in depth once signing up and sharing some emails with one another), I keep that slice of cake in, I lessen the salads but teach you how to be more mindful of what you eat and we can still reach that weight loss goal, be honest which sounds more appealing?

Sustainability, sustainability, sustainability. That's the magic.

What happens when signing up?

For all of this to work you must be prepared to share as much information with me as possible.

You will be asked to provide your weight (if the goal is fat loss), your age, your height, your gender, your day to day activity level too.

In the initial email I will ask for further information, including your likes and dislikes (with food and exercise), whether you have any allgeries, what is your main goal, is the goal for anything specific and a few extra bits and bobs. This will ALL be confidential, anything you share with me will not ever been shown or discussed with anyone unless given permission by you to do so.

Once I have all this information I can start to put together a plan for you, whether it’s a meal plan, an exercise plan or both and get you started on your journey.

Dependent on your goals I will ask you for an update at the end of each week, that might be your weight or your fitness achievements. I’ll also ask for feedback and for you to describe how you found the week and if there is anything you would like to adapt to make it more sustainable and enjoyable for you.

You're paying for this, so if ever you have any queries throughout the week, I will always be on the end of an email or text to answer anything you may want to ask.
